Rules/Guidelines

• One or more tournament staff member will referee each match.
• Tournament staff will be recording demos of each round.
• These will be made public.
• These demos will be used if there is any discrepancy of cheating.
• Please don’t cheat.
• Cheating will be determined by the tournament staff.
• Cheaters will be removed from the tournament. If serious cheating occurs, the entire team will be disqualified.
• Each round will run for 30 minutes or until a team wins 10 rounds.
• Plane and simple: keep playing until the server declares a winner.
• Each team will be limited to 5 members:
• 4 members to play each match.
• 1 member as a floater.
• The floater may be exchanged at any point in the game, as long as the team does not exceed 4 players on the map
• You may only play on one team. Playing on multiple teams will be considered cheating.
• If a contestant does not show up for the assigned round, the team may use a "floater" or they may also play with a 3 person handicap
• Please do not join the server until it is your time to play. If you join before you are needed, then you will be kindly asked to leave and rejoin later.
• Please do not chat when you are dead: “Dead men don’t talk”. There are no rules against third-party communication (eg. Teamspeak, Vent, etc). You may use the in-game “Team-Chat” option to chat amongst your teammates.
• This BR tourney is for fun only. While the SG team has given me support in running this tourney, it is not a SG sponsored competition. There will be not prizes or bounty, just heaps and heaps of bragging rights. So have fun!
• During the matches I will be in game refereeing, but I will be signed in on the #smokinguns IRC Channel as well as the Smokin' Guns Teamspeak Channel. These are a great places to get up the minute reports on the tournament.
• Please be patient with me. I am inexperienced in running tourneys and I will try my hardest to suite the needs of the players.
